Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Individual Therapist for adults (from young adults through seniors) supporting the challenges that come with major life transitions and working together to cope and heal through these issues.

I help individuals develop the necessary coping skills and obtain the resources needed to overcome the anxiety and stress that comes from the ups and downs of life. I work collaboratively with clients to explore self and identity, relationship and intimacy issues, and grief & loss in an effort to prioritize healing. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I am comfortable holding space for those who are grieving or processing traumatic events and experiences. I work to create a space where all people feel safe, cared for, respected, and welcomed to explore the deeper layers of their experiences and the impact on their lives now.

My approach is grounded in Systems Theory, that proposes that the balance of our lives is so deeply intertwined and impacted by small and large changes within the systems we live and interact with. Using humanistic and behavioral approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness therapies, I work together with clients to support their own goals while identify ways to move fluidly in systems they find themselves in...particularly those that are designed to oppress.

I received my Masters in Social Work and Bachelors in Psychology. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Disaster Mental Health Counselor. My practice integrates Internal Family Systems therapy and Attachment Theory, with clinical applications in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Anxiety-reducing tools. I have professional experience in Neonatal Intensive Care family support, Medical Social Work and the psychoeducation of disease/lifestyle management.
