Licensed Professional Counselor
I am a Therapist, Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, an Advocate and an Educator. I enjoy supporting teens, adults, couples, and families in their journey of wellness.
I am a deeply empathetic person that holds a caring and intentional space for curiosity and healing. I strive to develop trust, gain understanding, and acknowledge diversity with each unique individual. I am experienced in working with generational trauma, adverse childhood experiences, substance use, eating disorders, life transitions, traumatic brain injury and challenging family dynamics.
I use a collaborative approach and strive to empower others in self discovery. I enjoy helping youth navigate their experiences with emotions, school, peers, and family. I work with adults and support their process around gaining clarity, uncovering patterns, and moving towards desired change. Additionally, I am interested in helping couples and families gain understanding within their relationships and foster a sense of harmony.
I am strength-based, affirmative, and use an integrated counseling approach. Some of the theories I draw from include; Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Mindfulness.
I received a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bushnell University, and BS in Psychology from Oregon State University. I am certified through the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon as a CADC II.
