(SHE/HER)

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I am a bi-lingual, Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker and help adolescents, teens, adults and families learn about themselves and find meaning and connection in their day to day life.

Coming from a multi-cultural family I feel strongly about the importance of respecting cultural differences and advocating for access to mental health care for underserved and marginalized groups. I am passionate about helping families and individuals navigate new challenges, past traumas, major life changes, and general work with improving communication and relationships. I also have extensive experience working with teens and young adults struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and Adjustment Disorders.

Using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person- Centered/Strength-Based theories, and Trauma-Focused processing interventions I focus on teaching skills to help clients face stressors, improve interpersonal interactions, and increase feelings of peace. I also work to help individuals and their families learn about their own emotions, the family’s dynamic and practice new skills together to help adolescents feel connected to and supported by family.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW) in Oregon and Washington State. I hold a Master of Social Work (2016) and Bachelors of Social Work (2015) from Walla Walla University. I also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Walla Walla University during my undergraduate studies (2015).
